How did you know you were pregnant?

I’ve been ttc for over a year now and this month my period is late so I checked my cervix and it’s high and soft 
Did you check your cervix in early pregnancy? how did it feel?
Google says it will feel high and soft so I’m hopeful I might be pregnant but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much
** I took a pregnancy test cycle day 24 and it was negative **

Your cervix is not a reliable indicator of pregnancy. I know, I used to try to check. 😏 It changes all the time. I could have a "promising" cervix position but get my period instead. 
I did track my temps though & when I was pregnant they were elevated for longer than I was used to, that's how I knew I was pregnant before testing. I got a positive 2 days before my period.

By getting a positive pregnancy test. I never checked my cervix because it's generally really high and I've never been able to feel it. And symptoms can be confusing as they're pretty much the same as pms.
