How accurate would you say the blood test is for gender?

We are 10 weeks and will be 12 and a half when we do the blood test. It wasn’t something the doctor pushed with my first kid but now they push it at the OB office. I didn’t do this with my last but I had a friend who’s came back a boy and they actually had a girl.

Did NIPT at 13 weeks with baby #1. Came back girl, ultrasound said boy. He's definitely a boy. My doctor's office had a ton od gender results come back wrong. Could have been a lab error. But regardless, we got incorrect results. I would wait for the ultrasound personally. That's what we're doing for #2.
