Boyfriend has no compassion

Not all men, no. Sometimes "true colors" start to show once you're too deep into a relationship. Like they finally get to be comfortable with you and stop acting. I doubt he changed now, I feel like he was always like that and acted otherwise to be able to form a relationship with you. This is probably his true self. It's the same when people get married and overnight the husband (or wife) changes. No, he didn't change now. He feels like it's finally time to show his real side, otherwise you wouldn't have married him in the first place. Like a day after the wedding he becomes abusive? No. He was always abusive, but waited long enough to "trap" you.My advise is to look for red flags, starting today. The more you see, the further away from him you should get.
