Hey mommas anyone a stna or nurse and expecting how are you handling it? Its been rough on me... I'm currently a hospice STNA and its particularly the exhaustion and nausea.... and heightened smell, I get insanely nausea when doing personal peri care or helping with wound care, any tips on how to navigate? 🥺

Nurse here! Pregnant with number 3! It’s so tough! During all 3 I’ve been a nurse and I’m especially struggling with wearing a mask at work with the nausea makes me want to puke not being able to have full air exchange. I also found vicks worked just a small amount at the tip of the nose

You may know this trick, but wipe your mask with alcohol swab on inside before wound/ peri care to help drown out the smell if you can tolerate it.
