Question for anyone who has had COVID or family members whose had it?

I have a few questions my brother currently has COVID and I believe he is on day10  and we have no contact with him whatsoever. 
Anyways what we want to know is are we suppose to isolate/ quarantine even though we have tested negative many times throughout this waiting period and we have no symptoms? 
Also, technically when does quarantine start the day from symptoms or day from positive test?

Seran wrap your house in plastic and never leave again. If you tested negative that many times and you're still afraid, please, stay home forever. You are perfectly fine and healthy. The fear is all in your head.

So I would limit interactions just due to covid in general. You quarantine by when your first experience symptoms. I did when I experienced them but then got tested so I continued 14 days after that just to be sure.
