What do you tell your kids to call their private parts?

We use the actual name, if it’s a penis I call it a penis. If our next baby is a girl it will be vagina.
I’ve seen so many horror stories about people using nick names like “cookie” and just makes me sick thinking of what has happened in some situations like those. 
I 100% think we should teach the anatomically correct terms to our children. It’s their body, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, the names shouldn’t be taboo in any way.
With an almost 3 year old the amount of times I say penis a day is higher than I ever imagined LOL 😂

I let my daughter have a play date with her friend and her friend’s mother tried to tell my daughter her vagina was called a coochie or something (I don’t remember the exact word) and my daughter told her “no it’s a vagina” and the mother kept trying to pressure her into calling it something else and when I picked her up she kept saying she felt weird talking about her vagina. I swear I got some weird pedophile vibes.

Right now we’re on bottom with my 3 year old. There’s front bottom and back bottom. Sometimes butt and crotch. We’ve just achieved understanding of bladder and bowel. Well get there eventually. I know a lot of people teach their daughter they have a vagina, but what they are really referring to is not the actual vagina. So we’ll just leave the in realty anatomy lessons until she’s a bit older. If she ever needs to tell me she has been hurt on her bottom it won’t be confusing with what she knows now.

The worst happens... your daughter tries to disclose the abuse to a teacher “my uncle licked my cookie” the teacher brushes it off & says “well that wasn’t nice, did you get a new one?” No one ever knows about the truth.

My 1.5 year old knows that he has a weenie. Its easy for him to pronounce when he gets older ill introduce the correct word when he can under stand a littlw better. Right now he knows all of his body parts so when I go down the list and ask him where certain parts are I ask where is your weenie or bottom /hiney butt he knows where it's at. Again he's only 1.5 so the fact he knows where body parts are is good with me lol.

They know the real names but we usually say who-ha and the boy is wee wee my daughters are 12 and 7 and my boy is 2 I want them to know the real names and nicknames people may use so they never get confused but yes just at home sometimes the boy will get his diaper off and my 7 year old comes running out and says he’s wee wees out lol more cute names than just anything

“Privates or private parts” is creepy to me. Just call it what it is, they are body parts! And it’s important for kids to understand that. It almost comes across as shameful in a way bc of how it sounds.

We use the correct words at home however at daycare they try to tell her to say front bootie and back bootie which irritates the crap out of me. My daughter tells them she knows it is her vagina but they still won't call it that. She uses the proper term no matter what they say and we've even had to go in for a parent meeting due to it. As a survivor of molestation at a very young age we and the daycare have basically agreed to disagree at this point. I won't back down and they can't argue against my reasoning.

The actual names.  It was very confusing for my daughters though when they started daycare and that place would only let them use the words “pee pee” for vagina and “tush tush” for butt.  Annoyed the crap out of me because they’d get in trouble for using the right words.  I had a note in the cubby once because my daughter told the teacher she slipped off the the swing and hurt her butt 🤦‍♀️
