Is vomiting a good sign?

All, I have been vomiting 2-3 times per day for the past week. I’m 7 weeks now. I heard that it is a good sign and means everything is developing well, but I am sick of being sick!

As unpleasant as it is, yes, studies show that morning sickness is correlated with a lower risk of miscarriage. Emily Oster has a good section about this in her book on pregnancy, Expecting Better (which is great).
That’s what i tell myself when I’m sitting in front of the toilet for the third time in a single day 🥴

Nausea and morning sickness are considered good signs but don’t determine the health of the pregnancy. If you’re getting sick multiple times a day, every day, I would speak to your doc about some relief assistance like Unisom + B6 or Zofran.
