Sex before and during STIMS ?

So we are about to start STIMS . This makes us feel wanting to utilize time at hand and have more sex. Is it okay? Plus will it be fine to have sex during STIMS too? Why do I feel guilty about having sex on med cycle?

At some point during stims I was told to avoid “vigorous intercourse” and ejaculation (in case cycle gets cancelled, they don’t want sperm meeting all those  eggs), but sexual activity in the broader sense was still ok. Assuming we get embryos, I’m doing fresh transfer and my clinic advises no sex until beta test. Honestly, it seems a little overboard to me and I’m not sure we’ll follow that completely. 3+wks without normal sex....👎.

The first couple of days into stims are probably fine, but after that you start getting bloated and uncomfortable and just feeling blah (or at least I did) and sure didn’t feel like it anyway! But your Dr. should be able to guide you. And also listen to your body.

We were “allowed” to have sex during stims only if we used a condom 🙈 it was a rough go—-like taking me back to high school days.

I didn't have any restrictions during both rounds I've done other than 2-3 days before retrieval for my husbands sperm sample.

I was told no sex after day 5 of stims, and after my egg retrieval no sex until my period came. Honestly I felt so bloated and uncomfortable I didn’t want to anyway!

As long as your doctor didn’t give you any restrictions you should be fine. I was told to abstain from sex 5 days prior and up to retrieval day. I could resume sec the day after retrieval day if I felt comfortable. I also did a fresh transfer and was told the only restriction was on transfer day and could resume normal activities the next day.
