Mucus Plug 🙌🏼

So I’m 37w3d, and a few days ago at my 37 week check up I was 3cm dilated and 60% effaced. They did the sweep, and I have had long spurts of consistent contractions that eventually sizzle out. But today, I took a random trip to Mall of America in hopes walking would kick start a thing or two.

Anyway, we got home just recently and when I wiped, I saw there was my mucus plug full fledge! I have never lost my plug in the past so this is all new.

With being as dilated as I am, is there a chance the plug means close labor? I know it can regenerate but I wasn’t sure with the progress of everything maybe it’s okay to have some hope?
