Factor v leiden in pregnancy

Has anyone with one gene (heterozygous) had a healthy pregnancy without taking baby aspirin or levonox injections?

Doctor wants me on baby aspirin since day one but I haven’t felt comfortable. So I’m 10 weeks and haven’t taken anything yet. I will have another conversation with him this week but I’m just wondering if anyone can share their experience? My mom had 2 healthy pregnancies and didn’t even know she had the gene. I just want to avoid taking medicine if I don’t absolutely have to..
