I’m dilated 1cm at 35 wks. Is it safe to have sex or should we stop?

I didn’t know it was a normal thing so I have no idea if it’s safe for sex or not 😳. I’ve been telling my partner to wait until I see my OB Tuesday but I thought I’d come on here to see if any other moms know anything about this?

I was 3cm 75% effected at 35 weeks with my son. I made it to almost 38 weeks and I didn’t limit any physical activity. You can be dilated for weeks and have 0 progression.

I can’t say it was safe for me because I was 1 cm dilated at 34 weeks with my last pregnancy, and my husband and I had sex legit at 35 weeks, and 4 days. Than at 35 weeks, and 5 days my amniotic sack ruptured. 
I would suggest talking to your provider but everyone is different :)

Still safe. It's all plugged up there. Just remember in a few more weeks be more cautious as it can trigger labor
