Hemorrhoids

Looking for some advice please ladies. Has anyone dealt with hemorrhoids?

I’ve never had one before so not really sure what to do. I purchased an over the counter cream from the chemist but it hasn’t helped it go away or improve... it’s just stayed the same. It’s been around for a few weeks now and getting closer to birth I’m starting to get nervous about having it.

Is this something you go to a GP about? Is it dangerous etc, I’m really clueless. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated please.
