Does your SO want to cut the cord?

During our birthing class today my SO said he didn’t want to cut the cord! I’m really surprised! I thought he would want to for sure but I guess it kind of freaks him out. 
Anybody else’s SO passing on cutting the cord?

My husband has done it twice so far and will probably forever talk about how tough that cord is😂

He wants to be there but he doesn’t want to look while baby is being born, he thinks he’ll pass out 😂
I can’t see why he wouldn’t cut the cord though

Not his thing! He almost passed out when I was getting my epidural so cutting the cord was for sure not happening 😂😂

Considering he initially didn’t even want to be in the delivery room I was pretty proud of him 😂

My husband didn’t want to but the day of her arrival it was such a crazy whirlwind and when the doctor offered he jumped at the chance. Things change in the moment 😌

Mine did the first time and he didnt like it so he didn't the second time

My husband planned on cutting the cord but adamantly didn't want to help "catch" the baby when they were born. He changed his mind last minute and helped deliver our son and cut the cord. He said it was a cool experience and did both again when our daughter was born. If your SO doesn't want to cut the cord, maybe see if there's another way for him to be involved?

My husband did it. When my nephew was born, My sisters husband refused to do it so my other sister did it for him.

My husband didn’t have a ton of interest in it, but he did end up cutting the cord (but not really caring) with second baby.
