Contractions 😭
I started having contractions today around noon and we decided about 2:30 to head towards the hospitals. My contractions were 3 minutes apart but not super painful at that point so I was still trying to convince myself they were Braxton Hicks. The doctor figured out I have a bacterial infection ( caused by an overgrowth of normal vaginal bacteria) that is causing me to have early contractions. After monitoring me for an hour and a half, my contractions never got closer together, and my cervix didn’t dilate anything past fingertip, So they felt confident that baby boy was staying put for a while. I did get a prescription that will get rid of the infection and also help with the contractions. I would still appreciate your prayers as the contractions are still happening and not very fun, but thankfully they calmed down a bit overnight! 🙌🏼
