Hypertension and baby not growing?

So today at my 36 week appointment I got checked I was completely effaced and 2cm dilated already when she checked my blood pressure she was concerned because I usually am on the lower side but today it was at 144/80 which is high especially for me then she measured my stomach and said that I’m measuring the same as I was 2 weeks ago. I’m scheduled for a growth ultrasound in 2 days now and she said if I come back and my blood pressure is high again it could mean hypertension and they will go ahead and induce me. Has anyone else had this problem and should I be concerned?

Late in the 3rd trimester my fundal height doesn’t change much, it didn’t with my daughter either. My babies keep growing but I have a short torso, so my uterus can only go so far haha. My babies begin to just go straight forward into the next zip code instead of upward haha.

My blood pressure has been in the 140-150/80-90 range the last two visits. All lab work has been normal so no preeclampsia as of now. I’m due March 3rd but my OB scheduled my induction for February 18th, I’ll be 38+1, to make sure I don’t get preeclampsia. I’ve been on blood pressure medicine my entire pregnancy and for several years prior so this was a concern from day 1 for me. Baby is also measuring small which restricted growth is an adverse effect of my medicine. OB said going past 38 weeks just doesn’t seem safe for us at this point so its time to get him out. I’m also already 3cm dilated and 60% effaced so hopefully the induction will go smoothly. Praying for you momma, high blood pressure can be scary.
