How concerning is 161/88 blood pressure? 11 weeks pregnant

Guys I’m trying so hard not to worry but since yesterday my blood pressure has been high. Readings have been 144/85, 139/85, 152/92, 144/82, and then 161/88. All with hours in between.

Id call your ob and let them know but I dont think it calls for an ER visit right now. But definitely call speak with the nurse

I wouldn't worry unless it becomes an every day thing. I know you're trying not to worry but you obviously are which can cause a higher reading. Just stay hydrated, avoid added salt, and relax. Check it before bed each night and if it persists then call your doc.

I have high BP btw. Mine stays in the 130s/80s unfortunately but my doctors haven't put me on bp meds this pregnancy because its not terribly high yet. But its still worth mentioning and giving them a call and continuing to monitor it. 
Especially if its accompanied by prolonged headaches blurry vision or spots in your vision

I had high bp with both my pregnancies now with this one I had my first apt today and att 5w1d my bp was 180/68 my ob told me too get a cuff and monitor at home and if it goes over 160 top number or 110 bottom number to call her and she’ll send a prescription for me but once I got 12 weeks she’ll have me start taking baby aspirin daily. I took it later on and it went back down to a normal range but I’m in the same boat and freaking out which doesn’t help. My last two didn’t have high bp till the middle of my pregnancies

That’s quite high tbh. The highest mine ever went during pregnancy was 117/82, then went back to normal 90/55

Those are high.  My preeclampsia started very late and I was running 160-170/90s. After I delivered I ended up back in the hospital with 190s/100s. 
Preeclampsia should not be left untreated. It is harmful to you and baby.

Those are high but not terrible. That doesn’t warrant an ER visit but I would call your OB and let them know so they can see you and possibly start you on a medication

I voted the first option but now that I see you have consistently high readings I would at the very least talk to your ob ASAP

Lay down and take it again. If it goes down, you're fine. If not, call. You do not need to go to the ER as those numbers are nowhere near a hypertensive crisis. I've had preeclampsia 2 pregnancies so I'm familiar with what they look for

I believe during pregnancy if you have 3
Consecutive sbp of 140 or over to notify your OB so they can check you.
