Prose or Function of Beauty?
I've seen tons of adds for both, probably because my search history is full of "how to style wavy/curly hair" and things like that. Before I was pregnant I had stick straight hair, but around 16 weeks, my hair started getting wavy and now it's straight up curly. Not like super tight curls, but slightly curly. I have no idea what to do with my hair. And also it's dry and frizzy. Used to it only took 15-20 mins for my hair to air dry. Now it takes 2 or 3 hours. It's obviously damaged even though I condition it multiple times on hair washing days (like once or twice a week) and never apply heat to it. I think it's mostly hormonal since I've never had issues with my hair until after my baby was born, and I'm still nursing. Maybe could be a lack of the right vitamins? I don't know.
So I've been seriously looking into custom shampoo. Prose is a little pricier, but I don't mind price if it works better. Neither are cheap options, but I'm done with drug store shampoo and conditioner since it obviously isn't working for my anymore.
This is all new territory for me because I've always used Dove or Herbal Essence and my hair has always been extremely healthy and pretty. But I have to do something about the frizz, damage, and just out of control waves and curls. I feel like I can't do anything with my hair other than put it in a ponytail or bun.
