Induction methods

FTM at 39+1 and have been asked to go ahead and schedule an induction in case. I really want to avoid pitocin and was wondering your thoughts on membrane sweeping or Foley Bulb/Balloon. I was thinking of the membrane sweep at my 41 week appointment and if it doesn't work to try the Foley bulb. I don't know much about Prostaglandins but I may be open to it. Do you have to stay at the hospital if you get a Foley Bulb or prostaglandins as well? Thank you!
