C-section nightmares?

Anyone else having c-section nightmares? 
My first was an emergency c-section and I’ll be having a repeat scheduled c-section this time, but I’m high risk for preterm labor and low birth weight so I keep having dreams that I go into labor early and my dr has to put me under general anesthesia instead of a normal epidural, but I’m still awake when they start cutting me open and I can feel everything! Ugh this freaks me out so much! With my first I had an epidural and I couldn’t feel anything, so I don’t know why I’m so paranoid this time. Please tell me I have nothing to worry about. I really don’t want to be put under general anesthesia! I already feel like less of a woman because I have to have c-sections rather than vaginal births.

Definitely not less of a woman girl. I had an emergency c section because my sons heart rate dropped so low. I came home as a single mother caring for my infant son while just having that major surgery two days ago. That makes me feel like a stronger woman to this day because him and I got through it. Painful, yes. Did I cry, yes. Now I have my battle scar and it was worth every ounce of pain I was in 💪🏼💪🏼

I had an emergency c section with my first where the epidural didn’t work all the way and I felt them cutting and had to be knocked out for a bit 😬 second baby I’m having a scheduled one but haven’t had nightmares. I just know I will not allow any students or residents working on me(the guy who did my epidural first time around was a resident at the time).

First off you are NOT any less of a woman. Omg. You are a mother and you are a woman just like anyone else! 
Secondly, you’re just nervous. Don’t stress it. Scheduled CS go smoothly. And You definitely will not feel anything... Nightmares are scary but don’t stress.

Me 🙋‍♀️ I've had 2 c-sections and both were scheduled c-sections and went well but I'm terrified for this third one.. Also having c-sections does not make you less of a mother and birth is hard no matter what. Giving birth is not a competition and doesn't equate to how much of a mother or how good of a mother you are.

I had my first at 36 weeks with an emergency c-section and will have another march 25th. Im also high risk for preterm labor and small baby’s so I have to be checked every two weeks. The only thing I’m scared of is I’m not going to be up walking like nothing the next day like I was my first. I’m a single mom to a 3 year old and will have a newborn so I’m scared it’s going to be a hard recovery. We are no less of a woman for having a c-section sometimes things happen. I've had 5 sections.. you are not less of a women!!!!! Even my 5th I was nervous. It is natural to be nervous.

Haha funny cause I feel like less of a woman having given birth vaginally 😂 in my opinion ain’t nothing natural about it either way, and you can feel trauma from either. Your experience probably just had more of a an effect on you than you realize. Just remind yourself that they know what your their doing and it’s supposed to happen that way 😉
