Is it bad too let my toddler cry ?

My one year old has separation anxiety and often cries if I leave to the restroom but I don’t want him to go in with me so he cries like bad is it bad/mean to do this ? I have no one else to take care of him during the day it’s just me and him so I have no other choice but I feel bad when I hear him crying non stop and going crazy I try to put him toys and tv but no he will cry as soon as he sees me going in

No you should be able to use the bathroom alone. You’re not leaving him for a long period of time. We need a few mins to ourselves sometimes, you’re not doing anything wrong momma

Girl, quit judging yourself. Pee in peace. Heck, stick that LO in a packnplay (we call them freedom cages...) so you can have ten whole minutes with a cup of coffee. Theres no gold medals in parenting, we’re all just making it up and doing our best, and the only one whose judgement matters is your own so cut yourself some slack and let the little darling cry a few minutes.

I mean, it’s not necessarily bad, but why not just let him in with you? Give him a box of tissues or something to play with & do your business
