My midwife told me if it gets bad, take 20mg omeprazole every morning. She said you have to take it regularly / every day for it to help though (not just when you have the reflux), but that if you find you’re taking a lot of tums or anti-acids each day, it’s better to just switch to omeprazole.

I got it horrible! I noticed I got it when I ate certain sugary foods and tomato’s and stuff so I stopped eating them or had them during the day when I was more active and not at night when I am likely sitting or laying down. I refuse medication of any kind so I am of no help there

Mine was the worst, especially at night. This was he only thing that helped- it's just ginger supplements. It also helps to learn your triggers (mine were mostly cinnamon and chocolate).
