Can people conceive triplets or more naturally?

I know twins can occur with realising two eggs or a egg can split into two. 
But, is it quite uncommon to have triplets, quads etc naturally? 
I’d be happy with just the one!

My friend from high school just had triplets 8 months ago, naturally. I don’t know why you’d ever want that 😓 I mean it’s a blessing but so dangerous and so much work.
