Has anyone here grown potatoes?

Hey y’all I bought seed potatoes so I could go ahead and plant them in my grow tent. I’ve been looking for a fertilizer to use for the soil but can’t seem to find one that has that’s 5-10-10. I called a farm store and they said I could use 13-13-13 but I didn’t know if that was true. What do y’all use?

We used the ground. Seriously, we didn't buy any special soil or anything. Of course if depends on where you live and if your soil is OK as is.

We have, our soil isn’t the greatest here but that didn’t matter. Potatoes grow well just about anywhere. We just used the ground, we added compost ( we grow a lot of vegetables) and sprinkled some fertilizer. We didn’t add special soil. 
When covering the potatoes as they grew we just used peer moss.

Why buy potato seeds when you can just cut up a potato and plant chunks that will sprout?
