What to do when I’m still in love with my ex

My ex and I have known each other for 7 years before we dated. We were so In love even before we dated. We started to date and it was such a pure love and one of the best loves I’ve ever had. We dated for awhile and broke up because of differences and he lost someone close to him and I had a lot going on and we separated. The break up crushed us both and we didn’t talk for a long time. He decided to move to Florida and I am from Chicago, IL. Once time went by we text each other once in a blue moon to check on each other and some drunken texts some nights 😭 this past two weeks he came back up to see his family in chicago and wanted to see me. We saw each other a couple times and of course we were right back to where we used to be. I can’t stop thinking about him since he left. I’m still in love with him and he expressed so many feelings and vulnerability when we were together. What do I do, I’ve always wanted to move to Florida too. Should I tell him how I really really feel and see where we go again. The quote people say you don’t know what you have until it’s gone , is so true and it hits hard. The memories flashed and I can feel our love is still there. It’s just tearing me apart he’s so far from me now
