Tubal or ectopic pregnancy

So I’m 5 weeks 4 days pregnant and I started having this weird pinching / cramping pain on my left side. It comes and goes . Tomorrow I’m going to get checked. However does anyone have any experience with an ectopic pregnancy? Signs ? Symptoms?
