Ivf has way higher success rates. IUI gives you a max 20% chance.

I thought about going thru IUI process but IVF was explained to be a better fit for me. Thankfully my health insurance has approved my process for the most part. 
Research both options to see which one fits your health needs better, inquire what your insurance will cover (providing you currently have), find the right fertility center which is vital and go from there.

Of course success rates are better for IVF as they but a fertilized egg into your uterus. IUI only inserts washed sperm into your uterus so they do not have as far to swim. If your paying out of pocket I would always recommend IUI before IVF as there is a huge price difference but if your insurance covers cycles then definitely go for IVF if offered.
