Choosing to bottle feed/question about what to bring
Sorry in advance for the long explanation. Question is at the end.
This is my third baby and with my first I was pretty much shamed into trying to breast feed my baby. Not only was it not as easy as I thought it would be, my baby lost a lot of weight because we couldn’t figure out how to latch and my milk took forever to come in. With my second (I had in a different state), the hospital was actually more open minded and asked me what I preferred to do. I wanted so bad to try and breast feed again. So I tried again and was more successful but still not great. Now that I am pregnant with baby three I have made up my mind I want to formula feed. 1) because my PPD/PPA with both one and two were so bad I had a really hard time feeling the connection with my babies. 2) because it’s down right hard (kudos to mama’s who chose to breast feed. 3) this is my third kiddo and I fear I will be so exhausted trying to find time to feed, pump and take care of two other kiddos (my husband travels for work and is gone Tues-F every week). 4) I finally have a backbone to make a decision with out caring about what others will think. So I guess my question is: When I get to the hospital to deliver, do I need to bring formula to feed my newborn, or does the hospital
provide formula for the time we are there?
