Mucus plug help, 36 weeks, ftm

So I know mucus plug isn’t alarming unless with bloody show typically but the past 2 days I’ve had severe lower back & vagina pain and every time I’ve gone to pee I’ve lost pieces of my plug. I also just started to feel cramps like diarrhea cramps the last hour but nothing consistent & they’re not terrible but it just started. I’ve been having a lot of Braxton Hicks this past week as well, they got to 10 minutes apart lasting for a minute but then they fade. Could labour be near? Again, a ftm, I’m unfamiliar with labour but this is different than what I’ve been experiencing so far. Thank you for the help of you answer!

This sounds like what i went through with my son (i was 35 weeks). It ended up getting so bad went to hospital and they said i was 5cm he was put within the hour.Maybe call your dr or midwife and see what they say. Good luck!

Honestly when it was happening to me i went in to get checked and my midwife said i was fine. I gave birth 12 hours later lol. Just keep an eye on it and if they start to get really strong then go in. Definitely trust your guy :)

My doctors office is closed today and the on call nurse I spoke to earlier today told me just to rest. I have an appointment this Thursday and all she said was “if it gets worse go in but try to make it to your appointment” 😑

Not really...i had contractions that were lasting 30-45 seconds and 1-2 minutes apart for a week or two prior to my induction at 40 weeks...i was only ever 3cm dilated at the very end. I had awful back labor too. I just took Tylenol and rested as much as possible.
