How do you feel about snakes?

I have a pet ball python but i just seen a family in Florida murder a burmese python. Broke my heart 😠 i love snakes. How do yall feel about them?

Pythons aren't native to Florida and wreck havoc to the ecosystem. I have nothing against snakes, but it's a serious problem in Florida.

Not a fan. I remember reading a story of a snake getting out, going to their child's room and wrapping around the 2 year old that was sleeping in the crib. She sadly passed.

I hate snakes. I honestly don’t care for most of not all reptiles. They give me the creeps. 
I’m just a dog and horse and bird person. 
I’m from Florida born and raised I respect gators and such I just think they should be free and on their own. I don’t do pet reptiles of any kind.

I would be open to getting one for my boys if they wanted. I just want them to be old enough to understand the snake at our house is safe, but the 6 million other snakes in Texas are not. 🤣🤣

I like snakes, but I do not have an issue with humanely dispatching invasive species.

In the mountains, we call the ones that aren’t dangerous a nope rope. Nope ropes are our friends. If it’s venomous, we call those danger noodles and we don’t keep them around. I’m not a pet person. We have two cats because they found us and decided they live here now but we are more about animals like chickens. I personally wouldn’t have a pet snake but we appreciate them in the wild. Snarky the snake (rat snake) lived in our shed for quite some time and we only knew he was there from his skin sheds. He took care of our mice getting into the chicken feed and wasn’t a harm to us. They are helpful.
