Does anyone else let their mail pile up in their mailbox for a while before you finally get it after saying “I really need to get my mail” everyday until you finally do it?

I check it everyday, but I have dogs so it's a nice walk for them to go to the mailbox and back

In england every single home has a letter box on the door where they throw your letters through or small packages. You basically receive your mail whenever you have any. Unless you live in apartments that have many floors to it then you would collect it at the ground floor of the building as for packages you get them at your door.  
The only time you go to collect is if you requested it to be sent to your local post office or if they just don't have the option of home delivery which is rarely ever the case.

My old house had a letter box near the front door, so there was no avoiding it. It was sticking out of the hole in the wall.
Our new house has community mailboxes, but they’re legit right outside our house. So, we check everyday. It’s nice cuz we get to chat with some of our neighbors too, when they come to get their mail.

Nah we check it maybe 3 times a month. We live in an apartment so we don't have a typical mail box (I don't know what those cluster of metal mail boxes are called that you have to unlock with a key). Plus I track our mail with the USPS app Informed Delivery so if anything important comes I'll know

Every day it’s delivered, got bills to pay and we always seem to get something. 
If I lived in an apartment or had a central mail location, at least once a week. It’s easy when it’s at my driveway or door.

I live in a rural town and have a Po box. I don't check it every day because I don't go into town everyday. I'm not going to waste gas just to find an empty box. So I check it when I go into town to go shopping or for animal food or something
