Covid test for spouse?

If you had a baby during this pandemic I know the mothers have to take a test but did the fathers have to take one too?

Nope! 
I gave birth in December. I had to take a test once we got to our room but my husband did not. He only got his temperature taken

I think it depends on the hospital too. My hospital isn’t covid testing moms unless they are showing symptoms or have been in contact with someone. They keep changing with our numbers though. Right now that’s the case but when we had high numbers they tested moms.

I gave birth on February 4th. And when I was admitted my husband and myself both had to get the covid test
