What age does babies hair go curly?

My hair is very curly, also my partner. My daughters hair is currently straight she’s 8 months old and her hair is quite long. When it’s washed it goes flicky but goes back to straight. 
Does anyone know if this could change later on? It would be quite unusual for her to have straight hair

Idk if there’s a specific age. When I was little I had super tight curls, to the point it was a wrestling match to even get a hairbrush through.  My mom had to get a conditioner to try and relax it but even with that it was only a mild help. Then around 3-4, my hair started growing in wavy instead of curly, until by like kindergarten/1st grade I had straight hair. Around 10 is when my hair started becoming wavy again, and that’s how it’s been ever since. 
I’d expect it to change as they grow - hair can change in color too as they get older. (My oldest sister had blond silky hair in childhood, it started darkening to a brown probably around 10 and the texture got bushier).

My hair has been curly since birth. A friend of mine with curly haired parents had pin straight hair all our childhood. We thought it was so strange until she hit puberty and her hair did a complete 180°. She has tighter curls than her mom now.

My sons hair had curl to it as soon as it started growing. He’s 3 now and his hair is maybe halfway down his back and he’s got looser curls.  It’s gone through stages of them being a little tighter and a little loser but it’s always been curly.

I'm honestly not sure. I have curly hair and my husband has straight hair. My daughter is two and her hair is still pretty straight. The ends might get a little wavy but that's its. It's very fine and thin. When I was her age my hair was already curly
