Facebook Marketplace
Ok, I need advice on somthing kind of silly...My daughter sold some toys on Facebook Marketplace for $40 on February 1st.A lady paid me on PayPal to hold for her and it's now February 18th. She always has an excuse as to why she can't pick up. Once I responded to her "sorry I was at an appt, I didn't have good reception ". She asks "where was your appointment?". I thought odd but im guessing if it was close to her she wanted me to drop off the toys. She lives about 40min from me, im not dropping off. Another time she asked if I would be home. I told her yes but I'm leaving in an hour and I can leave the toys on the patio..She responds "I'll come back another day". Last Monday w she told me she would pick up soon. Now it's Thursday (Japan). I messaged her of she would like me to just refund her the money. She basically says no her daughter is sick which is why she hasn't been able to pick up...At this point it's just kind of frustrating and I feel a little uneasy about it. My daughter was losing patience because she wanted her $40 but I couldn't give it to her because we still have the toys. I eventually just gave her $40 because I felt her waiting wasn't fair. What would yall do?
