Normal Period?

I was just curious if this is normal period blood. My period has been very strange the bad few months and I get heavy cramps but usually just bleed when I sit on the toilet and it usually last like 2-3 days. Sometimes the blood looks darker. I have yet to make a doctors appointment but wondering if you ladies have the similar issue?
