Bite size pieces?

When do we switch to bite size pieces? My LO does great with the pincher grasp, if that makes a difference.

We’ve always had to do bite size because he would bite off huge bites and get choked so I’ve always had to do bite size. Now he can grab it and feed himself

Usually around 9 months is recommended

I say go for it if your LO is ready! We tend to have foods like that naturally (blueberry, raspberry) so I like the mix of biting off pieces vs pincer grip.
