C section?

Question

Just out of curiosity, how many twins moms out there opted for c section and why? For those who had their babies, Did it go well? 
I am opting for one because I have a spinal fusion in my lower lumbar area and am concerned about something happening to it during birth. My doctors agree, but I am having second thoughts. I’m scared I’ll be in too much pain to take care of two babies! But I’m also scared of all the things that can go wrong with a natural birth!

Okay so the idea of a C-Section at first terrified me! Especially after having 3 healthy all natural vaginal births.. BUT after much research I’ve decided I’m opting for a scheduled c section. Csections are the safest way to deliver mono/di twins. & the decision of having my tubes removed helped with the csection decision as well, so I can have both done at the same time

I had a c-section as recommended by my doctor, and it was fine. I was able to get up the next day to look after my babies, so it was only really the day of the surgery that I couldn’t do anything at all. Of course you have to follow your doctor’s instructions and let your body recover, but I don’t think it’s as bad as a lot of people seem to think.

I didn’t have a c-section with my twins as I’m a single parent and I knew I wouldn’t be strong enough to recover from surgery and look after my babies so as much as the DR didn’t like it I opted to give birth naturally all pain relief had failed completely so as you can imagine I was in agony but an hour or so after giving birth I was using the toilet and even had a bath the pain completely disappeared, best decision of my life yeah the contractions are more intense compared to my singleton delivery but so worth it! 
You’ve spinal problems I’m not in the medical field but your doctor knows best so have a c-section I’ve heard most mums recover within 4-6 weeks, speak to your dr again and voice your concerns about natural birth and c-section do what’s best for you and your babies.

I had a c section because my baby had restricted blood flow through her umbilical cord it was my first c section I had five vaginal births before and the medication they give you knocks feeling from everywhere I actually fell asleep and it hurts a little bit after the medication is done but it you follow the information given to you it’s not that bad just more so hurt to cough laugh sneeze or get up but it’s worth it if you have to get it done

I had a planned c section but twin A broke his water a week early. They rushed me into a c-section. The spinal block was awesome and it went well. Except baby B’s water didn’t break and he was born in his sac, not breathing. He ended up in the NICU for 5 days. I have no idea how that would have ended up if he hadn’t come out minutes after his brother, so I am glad I did it that way.

I did! Both babies were breach, so I didn’t really have a choice. I will say that I did need help the first probably 10 days. We bottle fed which really helped because anyone could grab a baby and help feed
