Is my cat pregnant?

My cat has been in heat and ran out of my house today. She was hiding from me and a male cat was coming close to her and watching her. I had to go do something for 10minutes and when I was back she was out of hiding and was somewhere else. After 2 hours I was able to grab her. She isn’t meowing anymore. (Ive been waiting for my vet apt)

Is she not meowing anymore because it was an intense day outside or did she likely have sex in those 10mins I was gone? And if she had sex is she for sure pregnant or is it hit or miss like humans?
