macrosomia ??

Question

Has anyone's doctor brought up macrosomia? I'm 24 weeks pregnant right now. I have to go back again in 4 weeks for another ultra sound to check my baby's growth.
Has anyone had this? What happened?

My first baby was 8lbs 13 ounces which is the cut off for macrosomia. So they did scans through my second and he was measuring large too. They offered a caection because my first son had shoulder dystocia and was stuck in my pelvis resulting in a forceps delivery and third degree tearing. They weren’t sure I’d be able to deliver a bigger baby but I opted to try anyways. Doctor predicted around 9 pounds but he was 10 and I had a super easy delivery. He was jaundice but a night under the light was all he needed. They kept in my IV longer because delivering a bigger baby has an increased risk of hemorrhage. But everything was fine! I’m pregnant with my third now and being monitored for size again and they are talking about inducing around 39 weeks if she’s big too
