will buy buy baby tell u who purchased item?

I purchased two items my best friend wants off her registry, but didnt use her registry link so it would be a surprise. I called the store to tell them i purchased them so it would come off her registry and nobody else would get her the same gift, but they didnt ask for my name or anything.. if she calls them will they tell her the phone number who called to take it off?? I really want it to be a surprise! I know its her most wanted item and its a big purchase she may call and ask.. anyone know??
