Baby could be like that for weeks. They won't keep you unless you're in active labor and it doesn't sound like you are. The thinning out and dilating can be a long process. You got the steroid shot to help thr lungs develop in case in progresses quicker, but I don't see any reason for you to spend time in the hospital
Contraction, dilated and Thinning out
Yesterday I went to the dr and got sent to the emergency room to get steroids shots because I was 1 cm dilated and she could feel my baby’s head then today I had to get the other shot and was checked and I’m 1 cm and 50% thinned and at a stage 2 then got checked a hour and half later and she said the baby was lower and I was having contractions but got sent home and I’m just so confused if labor will be soon or does this mean anything? I’m in so much pain and she is so slow. .
