Covid vaccine while pregnant?

Anyone newly pregnant and getting the vaccine? My ob said to get it but I’m still nervous.

I know lots of pregnant people who have had it and continue to carry their healthy babies 😊 I conceived about 2 weeks after my 2nd dose. All good so far. Another close friend had her 1st dose during TWW and 2nd at 6 weeks. And then I have several friends who have had it during 2nd and 3rd trimester. No complications so far. That’s my experience. I personally won’t. It hasn’t gone through all the stages of testing to be approved by the FDA. As of now it’s still experimental. I’ve seen too many miscarriage stories following a week after receiving the covid vaccine. No studies have shown it is safe for mother AND unborn child. If you have avoided covid by following your gut and doing what you can to stay safe this long then I’d say keep that up.

I conceived a day or two after I received my 2nd dose! Just found out I’m pregnant this week. 😊

I conceived after my first dose, will be around 6ish weeks when I’m scheduled for the second. I plan on getting it as long as my OB agrees!
