Every kid is different. I don’t have kids but all of my siblings do & let me tell you.. some of them are more irritating & difficult than others, for lack of better terms. I love them, but some of them are super quiet & keep to themselves while others are loud & obnoxious. 
I love every single one of them & would do anything for them but the obnoxious ones are why I don’t have kids myself (yet) 😂

Def a phase thing. Base personality is just easy going and fine. However they all go through stages.

I think what another poster said, depends on the parents perspective. My two kids are actually really good kids when I step back and look at them as a whole... but they can have days where they might not meet MY expectations and that’s my issue that I’m trying to work on. Such as not pick up a wrapper, plate, make their bed, bickering with each other etc. literally small stuff. But as far as their behavior... I would say they are pretty respectful and easy going.

She’s only 4 months old, so anything can happen, but so far she’s super easygoing!

I think it sometimes has to do with a parent’s perspective. My child has her difficult moments or days, but overall I’d say she’s pretty easy going. It’s not necessarily that she’s easy, but I think it has a lot to do with my expectations of her at 17 months. I expect a 17 month old to throw tantrums in public sometimes so I wouldn’t consider her difficult for doing normal toddler stuff like that.
