Irregular periods after going on the pill

I was on the pill for three years going on 4 but was on the Nuvaring a month before I stopped hormonal birth control all together. I got the paragard IUD in november and my periods are irregular. Is this normal? I stopped hormonal birth control October 28th. Should my periods be regular by now?
