Second baby?

Question

Curious to know your opinions. Life is feeling good now. I started a 9 month school program while working part time. My son is 17 months old. We would like another baby.
I would have a toddler, we would have to move homes (ours feels small now), possibly still be in a pandemic and I would be pregnant while doing school and work part time. We also don’t have family here. 
But... we would like to have two kids, close in age and get the “baby season” of our life over with.
It took us 2 years to get pregnant with our son now. Try to get pregnant? Or wait?

Tbh I don't think there's ever a perfect time for the next baby. If you both want another then go for it!

I wanted our children close in age too. It took us 7 years and help from a fertility specialist to become pregnant with my 18 month old. I never got on birth control because I assumed we would need to see the specialist again. Well, I'm 20 weeks pregnant with our second! It was a surprise, but a welcome one.
I'm a little scared about but having 2 under 2, but I'm glad we are pregnant again.
I'd say start trying if you want another. 🤗 It may be challenging for a bit if you were to get pregnant right away, but worth it.

Ours our 2 years 8 months apart. PERFECT gap. And I would def start trying if you have issues with infertility. We had a tough time conceiving too. We also wanted our kids closer in age and to get babies over with and the looming infertility stuff. 2 and DONE and it’s amazing!!!

If I was you I would wait til your at least half way done with school so if u do get pregnant right away this time u will at least be able to finish before ur due .

Personally life is super hard right now, but we want our kids close in age. I had a ruptured ectopic last month, but as soon as my period comes back we'll try again. Our priority is their age gap. So my advice is to weigh all the options and decide what your guys' priorities are, in order. Good luck mama!

I say go for it if it's what you want. I got pregnant with our second right after our first turned 3 months. It definitely wasn't the best time, (dad is OTR trucker who is only home 4 days a month, the pandemic was just starting, we just moved, and my mom had to move in with us) but now they are 17 months and 5 months and i really can't imagine not having two under 2 lol these kids are awesome!

I’m almost 7 weeks pregnant with #3! My sept 2019 baby girl is 2 years and a week from my son (august 2017). Now I’m due October 2021. 2 years - ish is succhhh a good gap!

It’s never the “right time”. I say go for it! I’m due in 10 weeks with #2 and will have a 21 month old when they are born. We want a few all close in age. Good luck!

I think that’s up to you guys. If you want to have another, go for it! I wanted all my kids to be extremely close but my 2nd and 3rd will be a little over 2 years apart
