Daycare- conflicted

Amanda

We recently learned that a daycare that comes highly recommended has an opening. I can start 3/1 or wait until the summer before I return to teaching. My husband really wants my son to start now since my son has not had a lot social experiences. He suggested we do part time which would leave me time to work on my own projects. The only qualm I have with that plan is the teachers at the daycare were not wearing masks. I like the daycare. My son LOVED meeting the other babies. I think he would have no problem transitioning there. It’s just the Covid part. For those who send their kids to daycare- how is it going? Have you noticed a big difference after sending them? My son is very talkative, social and active. He loves reading and seems to have a good attention span for listening to longer books. He doesn’t have great table skills- most of the food ends up on the floor. He has one little friend we sometimes get together with but it’s pretty much just us and the dogs most days. I’ll take any advice! Thanks!
