My mom is a foster parent of 4 kids. She also adopted one. She has twins who are 15. She adopted another 15 year old and she has a 10 year old. One of the twins came to her pregnant so she also has that child who is now 11 months. The twins have been with her for about a year and a half. They ran away twice before. They ran off with older boys about a month after the baby was born, leaving her with my mom. They ran away again with boys about a month ago and were found immediately. Since the winter storm, my mom has been without power. It came back on yesterday so my mom was cleaning her house. She was looking for her phone to text me that her lights were back on and she couldn’t find it. The girls were supposedly helping her look for it. She went into her room to look and heard the alarm for one of the windows going off. So she went out the front door and saw them driving off in her van!! My dad is out of state for a job and my mom sprained her ankle pretty bad a couple of days ago so she couldn’t run after them. They tried to leave her there with no way to contact anyone! They took her phone and her debit cards. They also left the baby again!! They were found today but the van has not been found yet. My mom has done so much to try to help these girls and they just don’t want it. They would rather go out with grown men and risk their lives to have sex than to be in a loving home. I am so mad that they did that to her!
