Normal pregnancy ??

Im a FTM & all my pregnancy tests results came back normal etc... since im having a normal pregnancy my doctor doesnt check for babys weight at my weekly appts she only checks her heartbeat and measures my belly. Im now 39 weeks im scared to go over my due date and having to get induced, if youre having a normal pregnancy do they let you go up to 42 weeks before getting induced or before??? My next appt its on Thursday so im really hoping I go into labor before then🙏🙏

My pregnancy has also been low risk, and I was told at my 38 week appointment that if I don’t go into labor by 40 w 2 d then they will schedule an induction. I’ll be 39 w tomorrow so I’m hoping I’ll go into labor naturally. Good luck on everything ❤️

I’m from Norway and have only have belly and heart beat measured. It’s just how they do it here. However, if I go about a week over due date they will do a checkup and I guess set a date for an induction which is no later than 11 days past due date. FTM so kind of learning our system as we go 😂

I have "boring normal pregnancies" this is #2. I only have fundal height and dopplers for baby. Me weight and BP.
With baby number one, exactly the same, I was induced at 40 +4. I could have waited but my OB was going on a college tour with her son.
Hopefully won't be induced this time.
Usually you can wait, but discuss with your doctor about all your options.

Depends on the doctor, I’m not going pass 38 weeks. But most doctors do it before 41 weeks....

You can ask for an induction as soon as 39 weeks talk too your provider and tell him your concerns I had an induction with my first at 40 +2 and allready have my induction set for this baby at 39 weeks maybe you can get an induction next week if that’s what you want good luck ❤️🙏🏻
