Concerned about doubling HCG?

Hi all!
So yesterday (Monday) I got my pregnancy confirmation with my level being 6071, I should be about 6 weeks...
However, the nurse at the practice I chose (didn't have an OB/GYN before) wants me to get my blood drawn on Wednesday to see if it's doubling...
I'm concerned because I thought after 6000 it takes longer than 2 days to double? What if it doesn't double and is at like 9000 and they think something is wrong? They did schedule me for an 8 week ultrasound in 2 weeks vs 12 week in 6 weeks so that's good, I'm just worried about my levels now...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😭😭

Yes, it probably won't double. But they know that. And when they say they want to check doubling they don't mean it definitely has to double in 48 hours. They just want to calculate at what rate it's doubling. It's usually 72-90 hours once it's over 1500miu

It doesn't have to exactly double. A healthy pregnancy can happen with a minimum increase of 35%.

No your levels will go up everyday (they say doubling because it’s some big jumps within the first 12 weeks) there’s charts you can look up on google to show you what’s in a normal range from week to week. You are in a normal range so I wouldn’t worry they just probly want to see for their records to make sure it’s going ok since it’s so early

Noooo don’t worry, it should double, they decline later in pregnancy but right now it should, try not to worry much, do the test and you will see everything is fine 🙏🏼❤️ congratulations
