Did getting your membrane stripped work for you?

Im feeling a bit discouraged. I went in yesterday to my ob appointment where my doc stripped my membrane. I felt small achs but later that afternoon around 8pm i started counting my contractions which were becoming more and more painful and ended up being 3 4 min apart. I decided to sleep it off after 4 hrs of consistant contractions only because my water still hasnt broken and im yet to see my mucus plug. But i wake up this morning and i have an ach on my back but the contraction have subside :( this happen to anyone and still went into labor 48 hrs after a sweep?

i had two, the first one did nothing and the second one my son was born 10 hours after! try not to stress, baby will come when they’re ready☺️

Yea, I went into labor 3 days after getting one

Nope. Had it done several times between 39 and 42 weeks with my first two. Had to be medically induced and still ended up with emergency csections

I didn't have one but My OB told me sweeps only work half of the time. Some women have more than one. Sometimes the second sweep works but again sometimes it doesn't.

None of mine worked. They always cause me to have cramps and sometimes spotting within the first 12-24 hours then nothing
