Why?! I had an appointment today and they were supposed to start first trimester testing, but I've been puking non stop for the past few days and I couldn't keep anything down at all, not even water, so I'm super dehydrated. They went to give me fluids so they would be able to take my blood to start running tests, but I'm so dehydrated that they kept blowing every time they would get one. They stuck me 6 times all over my hands!! No success, and I have to come back for my lab work when I'm able to because I was a human pincushion today. They ended up giving me a shot in my butt for nausea so I can try to eat and drink something, but they said if it doesn't get better or gets worse to go to urgent care/the er depending on how bad it is and let them try to stick me over there so they can give me fluids. Luckily the nurse was super patient with me while they were trying to get the iv in, even when she had to call another nurse to try and help. She got me crackers and water because I was gagging and almost throwing up every time she would stick me. I feel so bad for them though because they were just trying to do their jobs and my veins wouldn't cooperate lol.
